Profit Sharing / 401K Plan

  • Employees may enroll at any quarterly entry date including January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.
  • The 401(k) plan allows employees to contribute allowable annual amounts on a tax-deferred basis, including additional contributions for those "over 50."
  • Historically STSI has matched a percentage of the employee contribution.
  • STSI’s Profit Sharing contributes an additional percentage of employees’ annual earnings at the discretion of the President at the end of each year. No employee contributions are required.
  • Employees are entitled to any STSI matching and profit sharing, according to the vesting schedule, gradually over six years.
  • Eligibility requirement for employer match & profit sharing: 1000 hours per year, and employed with STSI on the last day of the year.

Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance

  • Employees are eligible to participate on the 1st day of the month following their employment date.
  • Employees may choose from one of two PPO plans or an HMO Open Access Plan. The plans are offered for individual, individual with a child, individual and spouse or family coverage.
  • Dental insurance provides a wide array of coverage and is offered for individual, individual with a child, individual and spouse or family plans.
  • Vision care provides a percentage of coverage for eye exams and discounts on eyewear at participating providers.

Personal Leave

  • Full-time employees will receive 24 days of personal leave per year accrued at the rate of two (2) days per month. The accrued leave is to be used at employee’s discretion, i.e., approved annual and sick leave. STSI does not offer a paid holiday schedule.
  • Unused leave days may be carried over into the next calendar year.

Life Insurance

  • All full-time employees are covered for the amount of $50,000 at no cost to the employee.
  • All full-time employees with annual salary of $100,000 or more are covered for the amount of $100,000.

Short Term Disability Insurance

  • Weekly benefit of 60% of earnings subject to a maximum of $1,000.
  • No cost to employee. This is a taxable fringe benefit on W2.

Long Term Disability Insurance

  • Benefits equal to 60% of gross monthly earnings up to a maximum of $6,000 per month.
  • Benefits continue up to age 65.
  • No cost to employee. This is a taxable fringe benefit on W2.

Tuition Reimbursement

  • Tuition reimbursement for company-approved education and training courses is offered on a case by case basis.
